I'm always looking for ways to incorporate arts & crafts into our homeschool day. Art can get a little messy -- I find myself procrastinating too many times. I'm not an artsy type of person and don't have a creative bone in my body. Yet, with Super Beads from Zirrly, they made my job a whole lot easier!
We choose the Super Beads 3D Animals package since my daughter LOVES animals! As soon as it arrived, my daughter and a friend opened the package up and started beading right away! That's how easy it is to follow the instructions. The directions were even simple enough for my 13-year old daughter and 9-year old friend. It was hands-off for me as a Mom but I did monitor them in the beginning. 
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
First, they folded back the flaps on the design template and placed it on the board to ensure the slots were aligned. Then, the girls firmly pressed each bead, following the color patterns of the template. Easy Peasy! You'll want to make sure the beads are level and straight before saying it's finished.
Here's the best part, which is genius! There is no tedious gluing! All you need is to squirt a little water! After they removed the paper design template, we filled the bottle (included in the package) with water. Make sure to squirt a few drops to dampen the beads but not soaking wet for the glue to adhere together. Keep bottle away from the beads, about 1.5 inches away when spraying.
My daughter's first attempt was to drown the beads so we let it air dry longer than 60 minutes. Mom wasn't there at the time. Bad Mom. So, be careful you don't drown the beads! They should be covered with water, but not saturated. We let it dry a while longer. Her friend did not saturate the beads so they turned out great! She was able to use the included tool to lift the beads within an hour or so. My daughter's friend loved her creation so much she took them home with her. Her exact words were "they turned out perfect"!
