Here it is, my third and final installment of the Clipboard Commando series that saves you money, time and sanity! I hope you've gleaned some great ideas on ways to organize key areas of your life that need improvement.
Now it's time to explore 4 ways on how to use a dollar tool for your personal goals.
Before we begin, let’s summarize what we’ve talked about in the previous posts. We’ve discussed how a $1 clipboard can be a game-changer in two areas: Homeschool and Household. The clipboard is cheap, versatile, easy to use, keep papers neat, and holds several sheets of paper and even can carry a pencil/pen. Now, we’re going to discuss how best to use this nifty little tool for moms who want to work at home or start a hobby. Or, maybe you are an entrepreneur launching a new business or venture? Would you like to write a book or organize a party?
We are more than just a mom. We have hobbies, dreams, and talents that need a plan in place for a successful launch.

Besides teaching my children at home, I’m also an entrepreneur. I teach English part-time online, write/blog, and offer Virtual Assistant services to other bloggers. Needless to say, I need to stay on top of my tasks consistently and have a business clipboard handy at all times. I use it to jot down ideas, schedule my blog, plan future months, and write notes on books I’m currently reading.
I have the perfect $1 solution for your personal goals to achieve your dreams!
As mentioned in previous posts, all sheets included in my clipboard are used weekly until completed. Then, I transfer them into an organized, permanent storage binder. I refer to my binder only a couple of times a month but want to keep my papers neat and handy for quick reference.
Here is what I include on the business clipboard:
1. Weekly Work Schedule - My weekly work schedule is static on half a sheet of paper highlighting my work slots. My work times are highlighted to help me remember to turn off my phone and remove any distractions.
2. Encouraging Bible Verses/Quotes - The other half of the sheet contains inspiring bible verses/quotes to keep my focus right. It's always uplifting to read bible verses and quotes from godly leaders. My favorites include Charles Spurgeon and Adrian Moore.
3. Weekly To-Do List - This is a list of 5-10 key measurable tasks that are necessary based on my 12-week goals. These are based on 3 high-level personal, professional and spiritual goals. If you are looking for an alternative way to achieve your goals realistically, this is the method I use. It has been a game changer for me!
Make sure your to-do-list is SMART. Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely.
4. Weekly Reading Notes - Include a few blank lined sheets of paper (found at the Dollar Tree). These come in handy for jotting down notes when reading a motivational book. Or, they're great for scratch paper to jot down ideas when you don't want to forget.
Here are my final thoughts.
Well, girl, there you have it. It’s time to get started on that party you want to plan, the e-book you want to create, or the business you want to ramp up!
